If Brexit was a drug

SCIENTISTS have confirmed that if Brexit was a drug it would be the popular livestock tranquiliser ketamine.

The Institute for Studies compared drug experiences with political phenomena and found that Britain’s exit from the EU most closely resembled a hellish ‘ket-hole’.

Professor Henry Brubaker said: “New Labour was definitely ecstasy. A ridiculous, meaningless high followed by a dismal comedown filled with self-loathing.

“Thatcherism was, of course, cocaine. Mind-blowingly self obsessed that was incredibly painful to watch for anyone not on it.”

He added: “But Brexit has to be ‘Special K’. A wild, swirling ket-hole that makes you wonder what exactly you’ve taken and you’re pretty sure that the whole thing will send you over the edge into what feels like a bottomless abyss.

Yeah lots of puking will be had after Brexit

Whereas Bremain would be smack - a numbing depressant that makes you forget just how bad you've got it.

Wrong
Remain is reality, stone cold sober.
Plus as anyone with a brain cell knows if you take heroin, in small doses, you can live a perfectly normal life.
BBC did a documentary on it, showing the lives of three people taking it then going to work.
As we all know some of the finest examples of literature have been under the influence of opium.

I had Brexit down as good old LSD.

The effects of LSD are unpredictable. It is a roll of the dice—a racing, distorted high or a severe, paranoid low.

Extreme changes in mood, anywhere from a spaced-out “bliss” to intense terror, are also experienced, along with fear of losing control....

The worst part is that the LSD user is unable to tell which sensations are created by the drug and which are part of reality.

Some LSD users experience an intense bliss they mistake for “enlightenment.”

You know, like the 'enlightenment' of 'taking back control'.

And the intense terror felt when realising they were horribly wrong during other brief moments of 'enlightenment'.

Yes - LSD. Brexit all over.

Can you get Special K from horse piss like you can get hallucinogens from reindeer piss after they've been on the old 'shrooms? I often wondered :choc:

No.
You on the other cannot list one single tangible benefit to the UK. :pointlaugh:
18% WTO tariffs are a benefit? :gigglesnshit:
How will that reduce inflation exactly? :pmsl:
Got any foreign holidays planned for 2019? :gigglesnshit:
Not one of your muggy mates can offer up a single benefit either. :Hiya:
