Terror returned to the streets of Europe on Thursday when a van ploughed into a crowd of people in Barcelona, killing at least 13 and injuring more than 100 others.

Footage of the scene showed dozens of bodies sprawled across the pavement in Las Ramblas, a street popular with tourists. Two men, one Spanish and one Moroccan, were arrested but police said the driver of the van was still at large.

On the early hours of Friday morning, in the town of Cambrils, 70 miles away, police said they were dealing with a “possible terrorist attack”.

I strongly believe there will be a Balkans style war between Sunni islamists and everyone else within the next few decades. Europe has defeated Islamic attempts at takeover before and we will do again.

I've only learned about this from your thread just now, I too am surprised there hasn't been a legion of posters denouncing another horrific murder by vehicle.

I'm sure that given time, the Wutangs and Megeras of this world will steam in and utterly berate these murderers, as they did the 'Nazi' who murdered the woman in Charlottesville in a similar manner.

That is of course unless they can see some way to explain why those Spanish people were acting in a provocative manner and brought the attacks on themselves.

Most "civilised " people would rather stand by and watch their fellow countrymen die, than condemn islam for the vile disease that it is, in the name of tolerance.
Certain dog breeds are banned in this country because of their penchant for violence.
Islam should be treated the same way. It does far far more damage than any dogs ever could.
