you cant then turn around and accuse him of killing the enemy
in a court of law in the country that sent the soldier in the first place
to kill the very people they now want to avenge for being murdered

Like it or not, our armed forces have specific rules of engagement about what they can and can't do, and I would say that if a soldier violates those, it's right that they should be punished. Now, there is a lot of talk about whether we should have those rules of engagement, or whether they should be altered, but I think that's a different discussion - The fact is we have those rules in place at the moment, and if a soldier violates them, surely it's only right they be punished?
