Police Scotland have asked the public's help in catching a bag snatcher and someone who threw a coin at a footballer, but they haven't asked the public to help catch a convicted sex offender, who's gone on the run.

The Police haven't released a photo of the individual and the public don't even know if the suspects male or female.

All we do know is, they have been missing for three weeks and could be anywhere in the UK now.

It would seem to me, Police Scotland have their priorities all wrong and due to them not releasing any information, they've put the public at risk.

Maybe the Police are trying to avoid any vigilante action by members of the public? Even worse if that were to happen in a case of mistaken identity.
