The best bet for meat is buy at a butchers shop in a village.
That's better than a farmers market which is more suited to veg.
Don't buy off the big vans.
Avoid the factory stuff as much as possible.
Doesn't ttake a lot of effort to drive to a small village that still has a butchers shop that's used by the farmers themselves.
A five quid Tesco kind of chicken in oe of these butchers will cost around 7 to 8 quid.
It's more expensive yes but safer tastier and just eat less meat to make up for the cost.
