Don't talk wet.
You have just effectively stated for all to witness that you will put strangers children before your own.
Mind you, we all know that anyway, boozing on cider whilst you have charge of "little ones"", the mind boggles, shame on you..

Like you wouldn't stop a kid from running out in front of a bus?

You do not know that which I would or would not do Stooo do yoo?????

Would you risk your life and the security of your own wife and children (assuming you had either) by running out in front of a bus ro save someone and being killed yourself, not the brightest thing to do, is it ?????

Extremely tricky one, but in general kids who are born here should get first place in any queue. At times priority should be triaged though, someone in dire need who was born in this Country should come before someone who isn't as bad, who comes from elsewhere. But those in dire need from elsewhere, should come before those who aren't in such need in this Country.

And a general fact is.. that everyone cannot be 'first'.. the resources aren't there, the number of people needed isn't there.

I’d like to think I could show compassion to all children, whatever their nationality, religion or skin colour. I’m funny like that... :ooer:

The answer from this lot?
Stick em all on a ferry with a promise of a life free of oppression and danger and sink the thing in the middle of the English Channel. Better a thousand children die than one imposter passes into this land of milk and honey OUR TINY ISLAND (ninth largest in the world) IS CRAMMED TO THE RAFTERS WITH BROWN PEOPLE (ignoring the fact that we have more real estate acres in golf courses than we do residential dwellings), RETURN OUR COUNTRY TO OUR OWN!!!

I'm not sure that I'd want to live in a country that is a Saudi/NK hybrid because it's what this sort of person wants.

Cut down on crime? Stop cutting the Police budget. Cut down on illegal/unwanted immigration? Enforce the existing laws and increase the budgets of Border Control, HMR&C and the Coastguard, our coastal vigilance is an actual joke compared to Italy or Croatia FFS!

You can't save all of the children all of the time, no more than you can save all of the people all of the time. The sad fact is, there are far too many sick and poverty-stricken individuals in the world, people that want a 'better life', than we could ever cater for in a liberal's wildest dreams.

So we need to draw a line somewhere, we can't just let everyone in. We have to start turning people away, otherwise our resources are stretched and our quality of life is reduced to such an extent, that we are no longer able to provide a decent standard of living to those who have contributed to it, let alone the charity cases and parasites you would open the doors to.

Some of you seem to think the UK is like Dr Who's Tardis, with infinite space and resources, and it's inhabitants all Father Christmases dishing out presents to the needy. Well it's not. we're pretty much at saturation point with immigrants already, and it will get worse.

LoL at your '9th largest island comment' - what the fuck does that have to do with the price of fish?

Not this again. Do you really believe everything deano says about anything... a 'few' ciders, in the context he said it, I wouldn't take that so literally if I were you. It's good to try and read between the lines on forums, at times. Off the cuff remarks.. are quite common.

We are not a small island.

We have the opportunities to draw the line but as a government but they choose not too use it.

Take no notice of Starbold, he’s trying to get a bite... which is unusual as he’s avoided me at all costs for the past 10 years. Must be getting brave...

@dean

I don't really, but in my book judging anyone's parenting skills as being crap.. is a low thing to do. Unless you know it's true!

The size of us as an island has nothing to do with anything. Most islands are tiny little fuckers anyway. Us being the 9th biggest island has nothing to do with immigration, seeing as immigrants aren't restricted to only moving to islands. :dunno:

Let's picture an imaginary UK children's hospital with 200 beds. 100 are taken with UK children, 100 with immigrant children. There's a massive waiting list, doctors are already stretched working double and triple shifts. Children who should be seen, are being turned away, and are waiting an unacceptable amount of time for operations, that if not done soon, would have a negative effect on their quality of lives forever.

How many of the world's sick children, pressing their noses against the hospital window would you let in and queue jump, knowing it would make the situation of those already waiting far worse?

Tough love and common sense is required, not all this bollocks about islands and golf courses.

It's not like that though, is it?

I love your utopian dream but we haven't got enough nurses anyway and why is that?

Yes it is like that. That was just a simplified version of how it actually is. The NHS is stretched, queues are unacceptable, and apart from immigration, we have health tourism too. Remember that chart I posted from my local hospital's maternity ward? I can't remember the exact figures, but out of something like 300 mothers, only 19 were from the UK. Do you think that acceptable?

Apart from health matters, where do these people live - we already have a housing crisis? Where do their kids go to school? Classrooms are already bursting at the seams re numbers - how many kids do you want to see in a class - 60, 70, 80? Non English speaking as well - don't you think that will hold other children back?

Some of you have eyes bigger than your belly. trying to help everyone, but end up helping no one.

We don't have the staff and the pool is shrinking. Your immigrants are leaving big time and taking their skills with them.

This will kill the brexit.
