Is this fair?

Should they be put before our own children?

All children, no matter where they are from, should be treated equally.

Wouldn’t you agree?

You can't imagine what these very young, unaccompanied child migrants are going through.... or their parents for wanting to send them to a place of safety and hopefully a better life..... one can't even begin to imagine how they must feel

Some see these refugee/asylum seeking children, and think how could anyone not want what's best for them. The thing is, by putting them at the head of the queue for schools and healthcare etc, they're taking the place of........that's right, other children.

Also, I hope there are more stringent age tests coming into place. We've all seen the photos of refugees in their 20s and 30s claiming to be 14 or 15, and the liberal do-gooders believing them, simply because they say so, having conveniently 'lost' their papers.

Did you see the "child" in the papers yesterday who raped a girl. He claimed to be 17 but dental experts have now said he is approx 29 years old.

They're such bloody liars these "children".

We saw it all during the refugee situation -grown men with five o'clock shadows and beards claiming to be kids.

It beggars belief that some people either give them the benefit of the doubt ('they're desperate') or outright believe them - 'here sonny have a sweetie and a comic'' whilst ruffling a 34 year old's hair.

cos this should be done on every child, along with the general health checks (I hope) they are all given, for their sake and ours

as for genuine kids, of course they should get priority medical treatment once here, its mad not to, for loads of reasons

as once here, the family will join them. this is dangerous, on many levels and cant be encouraged and facilitated, as the med crossings have been, ..................its costs lives apart from anything else, and the kids face gawd knows what from the gangsters smuggling them in

No, this sort only think that blood transfusions and organ transplants should be equal.

Day to day equality for this sort feel that it's only valid if the people involved fit into their societal norms, outsiders should know their place and be happy with it.

Stick em all on a ferry with a promise of a life free of oppression and danger and sink the thing in the middle of the English Channel. Better a thousand children die than one imposter passes into this land of milk and honey OUR TINY ISLAND (ninth largest in the world) IS CRAMMED TO THE RAFTERS WITH BROWN PEOPLE (ignoring the fact that we have more real estate acres in golf courses than we do residential dwellings), RETURN OUR COUNTRY TO OUR OWN!!!

I'm not sure that I'd want to live in a country that is a Saudi/NK hybrid because it's what this sort of person wants.

Cut down on crime? Stop cutting the Police budget. Cut down on illegal/unwanted immigration? Enforce the existing laws and increase the budgets of Border Control, HMR&C and the Coastguard, our coastal vigilance is an actual joke compared to Italy or Croatia FFS!

I don’t get the right-wing thought process so it’s hard for me to see their logic or even argue with them... if wanting to see children that have lost everything and are scared and hungry makes me a lefty liberal, so be it...
