WILL PATEL BE ARRESTED AND CHARGED ?

WILL PATEL BE ARRESTED AND CHARGED ?

Postby Cannydc » Thu Nov 09, 2017 7:46 am

The way I read it, Patel should be arrested for breaching section 3 of the Official Secrets Act dealing with International Relations which strictly forbids any unsanctioned meetings between Crown Servants and members of a foreign government.

Now that would be a very juicy court case indeed.

Let's find out who REALLY knew. And why she was REALLY there.

And then, when Maybot finally caves in we can have the election this country needs and dump the sleazy Tories for a generation...

I too would love to find out why a cabinet minister would have secret talks with a foreign govt while on holiday.
Liam Fox is staunchly defending it so he obviously knows.

They are out in force today, defending the indefensible.

If I as a civil servant had done something like this, my P45 would be following me out of the door. She gets to keep her job, and just needs to find a different seat at PMQs.
Frankly disgraceful.

The inner circle obviously knew what was going on, she had follow up talks in Westminster and New York which she claimed Boris knew about and has had to backtrack on that claim.
Raes Moggy was all out last night on newsnight saying she's being picked on because she's a brexiteer.

Never a truer word spoken in this quote...

"Her government is full of braggarts, sexual harassers and people who have decided to conduct freelance foreign policies.

As ever with May, it is hard to ascertain why she wants to cling on. Her leadership is now little more than a penance to her party for not being good enough to secure a decent majority. She is surrounded by those for whom cooperation is some kind of socialist conspiracy and loyalty is for wimps. Many of her ministers wear their ignorance with pride, feeling that they can make policy in a ridiculously atomised way. They appear to have no clue how the rest of the world sees them – largely irrelevant – nor any clue of how the world is changing. In their myopic pomp, they seem not to have noticed that the US is in decline and still yearn for Reaganite certainties. "

True.

It's a party within a party and no ones inviting Teressa.
Wonder if she's asked John Majot for advice.

A great question. Would it be Major ? I honestly can't think of anyone else who wouldn't cause massive disquiet in Tory ranks if it was revealed that she had them as private confidantes. Hague ? Howard ? Hesseltine ?

Section 3 is contravened, mislead/interfere is an offence

"Will Patel be arrested and charged" ?
What a strange thing to say, Cannydc. As if!! When did you last see any MP arrested - let alone a govt cabinet minister? :yikes:
An exceptionally rare event. The establishment looks after its own!

Let's not fall for the myth that 'Everyone is equal before the law'' . Speaking of which - here is a chuckleworthy story I stumbled on, for when you have couple of minutes to spare, http://www.foxnews.com/us/2017/11/08/ma ... ghter.html

Priti Patel has been allowed to step down with dignity but there was nothing dignified in her recent dodgy activities. :shake head:

She is a far right tory. Quite stony-hearted, always very eager to support austerity measures and any policies which make working class people more miserable.
Yet she always claims the maximum personal allowance she can, for herself. Additionally she gives a nice fat annual salary to her gormless husband for .... ahem ... ''assisting her with secretarial duties''. He already has several well paid jobs outside the home, when does he find time to ''assist'' his wife? Frankly it's just free pocket money from the public purse. Thank goodness there are now new laws to prevent future MP's employing their spouses - cos essentially it's just a way of handing over taxpayers' money to your loved ones for doing eff all. Nepotism is immoral.

So are you really claiming that a white British woman with British ancestry going back to the ice age (BNP Rules to decide Britishness) who marries a man with the surname Patel should NOT be in OUR government ?

Or do you, as I suspect, have an utter fear and hatred of anyone with so much as a foreign sounding name... never mind a brown skin tone ?

Why?

Do you think there is a conflict of interest between ethnicity and nationality for some reason?
