No idea what he is up to. I think the campaign to ban the dailymail is rather snowflakey though.

Don't know as Branson has much say in anything his Virgin logo appears on these days, maybe the airline :dunno:

He seems to have hived off pretty much most things now, either in part or fully.

Why are Daily Mail readers such snowflakes?

For nearly two decades they squealed and bitched and moaned until finally, having been presented with the evidence again and again and again, they finally took their vapours and got the message that no-one had banned Christmas or renamed it Winterval and was coming around the steal the fairy from the top of their tree.

For about the same length of time they were convinced that St James Park was going to be developed into a group of high rise flats for Asylum Seekers where roast swan was served each night.

Now they are convinced that Richard Branson is going to commission elite squads of combat trained operatives to descend on their trains and steal their copies of their beloved fascist rag.

Your train won't have your newspaper, it doesn't have the NYT International edition either, but you don't even have to subscribe or go online like NYT readers because almost every train station has a thing called a 'newsagent' where you can buy The Mail and your other preferred publications, I'm guessing Hustler and Readers Wives, to peruse at your leisure.

So calm down little snowflakes, cuddle your blue blankies and dream of stormtroopers killing baby immigrants or whatever it is you do in your moments of quiet fantasy the Mail will be there to pander to your basest instincts tomorrow.

We all like snobs. :whogives: about newspaper politics. Virgin Trains have more important issues to sort out.

Virgin Trains might also want to look into fixing the noisy air conditioning on the Class 390s. British Rail engineers managed to manufacture quiet air conditioning for the Class 43 Mark III carriages, way back in the 70's.

It's hard to believe a 40+ year old train (the Class 43) is better sound proofed from inside and out. IMO.

Speaking of wifi. It should be free for all passengers, what with the price of train tickets these days.

Yes some do, but many don't, but is it free for all passengers.

There is still a long way to go before getting free universal wifi on the railways and buses for that matter.
