TORY CHAIRMAN WHINING ABOUT SOCIAL MEDIA

TORY CHAIRMAN WHINING ABOUT SOCIAL MEDIA

Postby Cannydc » Thu Feb 22, 2018 9:52 pm

Conservatives are losing out on social media because supporters feel unable to share their views without attracting abuse, the Conservatives’ new party chairman has said.

Brandon Lewis said his party’s supporters found it difficult to conduct debates online but said his focus over the past few months had been how to gain ground on social media, where he admitted Labour had the upper hand at the last election.

“If you look at what happens on social media, if somebody on the right or the centre puts out a message, the attack from the hard left is sometimes unbelievably abusive and vitriolic,” the MP told the House magazine. “For some people, if they suddenly get attacked by a huge number of hard-left people they’ve never met, that can put them off.”

Bless their little cotton snowflake socks.

Of course, what he really meant was this.....

These days it is damned near impossible to keep the raw bloody reality of our policies from being splashed all over social media. We used to be able to greatly influence the electorate through our mates in the press, such as the Scum, Torygraph, Princess and Fail. Sadly, only sad old bastards with no life still believe the biased shite they pump out, the young get their facts elsewhere.

Every time we U-turn, or Treeza fucks up another Brexit decision (who the fuck voted for that anyway), or Boris condemns another poor woman to jail in Egypt we get crucified on Facebook. It is making us look like complete dicks.

Our strong and stable government is being ridiculed. They even claim that we are trying to sell off the NHS.

It's so unfair. We were sworn to secrecy !!!

The right wing are shitting themselves because it's mostly old people that vote for them now and they know that time will erode the number of votes that they get further and further.

I disagree.

The average Tory voter is getting younger all the time. :snooty:

Brandon Lewis was on QT last night, trying to flog the same drivel about 'freedom of the press'.

When asked by a lady in the audience if that meant freedom to lie, he changed the subject.

Never mind.

We have social media.....

On that subject, liked the bloke from Siemens - very sensible.

The swivel eyed Leavers in the audience weren't too keen though.

If you do the maths that doesn't really add up because the young will become older and they're more likely to turn Tory when older so there's a constant supply.

And as they get older, and find there's NO NHS, NO PENSIONS, NO HOUSE OWNERSHIP.....

A life long supporter of the Labour party was lying on his death bed when he suddenly decided to join the Tory party.

"But why?" asked his puzzled friend, "You're Labour through and through … Why change now?"

The man leaned forward and explained: "Well, I'd rather it was one of them that died and not one of us."

More crap from a Labour supporter, who is so blinkered he paints his toilet red. I try to put a picture of Corbyn down the pan just before having a shit. Especially those which are face up.

Lewis has form for lying and being an all round cunt, voting against helping Britain's poorest on various policy votes.

[quote="Cannydc"]And as they get older, and find there's NO NHS, NO PENSIONS, NO HOUSE OWNERSHIP.....

Even the Wail admits it....The pensions which workers can expect are being cut by around a third when companies convert final salary schemes to defined contribution ones, research said today.
A survey of 272 company pension schemes found that where companies had axed their final salary schemes they reduced the amount they paid into the new pension by an average of a third and in some cases as much as half.

Far from buying new homes, millennials increasingly aren’t even renting. The proportion of this demographic – aged around 18 to 35 – who end up living with their parents has been on the rise steadily since the Great Recession, peaking at about 36%, according to the Pew Research Center.

And the NHS ???
