OBR come to the logical conclusion that cutting migration could be good for economic growth. Industry is disinsentivised to innovate and invest in modernisation as it can constantly draw cheap labour from EU. Why buy a £150k combine when you can hire inmigrant labour on non contract piecework for a Pittance.
UK industry/sectors have become fat on this labour to the detriment of productivity and our own workers.
As they will be forced to invest and innovate by resticted immigration other supporting sectors will emerge and grow. Productivity will improve.
