Anti-Semitism is a right-wing problem

Anti-Semitism is a right-wing problem

The spiritual home of Jewish persecution is not on the left.

We have been conned into believing that anti-Semitism is now a disease of the left. In reality, it is still found mostly in racism’s historic home: on the right. But right-wingers use coded language for it.

In the 1930s, campaigners for a deal with Hitler started by arguing that Britain should not fight the “Jews’ war”. Then they got cleverer. My father was one of them, and Richard Griffiths, an expert on the far right, writes that John Beckett and others used the terms “usury”, “money power”, “alien” and “cosmopolitan” as coded references to Jews.

NF / BNP, who became UKIP / EDL, were habitual anti-Semites. When the new race-hate crimes became a reality the vile posts, insults and insinuations from the far-right disappeared. Not because they changed their beliefs, they were just shit scared of being locked up for spreading their poison.

They needed a new target to blame for their failures, and along came the Muslims. Not a race = perfect target. They still detest Jews, just can't round up the football hooligans to scream abuse at them anymore.

I think we are in danger of Jew fatigue - it's all getting very boring. :bored:

Let's face it anti-Semitism is now mostly an accusation levelled to silence criticism of American aggression in the Middle East, for many years to criticise the Iraq war was 'anti-Semitic' despite the fact Israel played no part in the war whatsoever.

Sajid Javeed has secured a commons debate in the chamber on 17th April. If Corbyn wont sort out the anti-Semitism in his racist party then we will do it for him.

Sunni Muslims are the ones who’ve revived anti Semitism in Europe.

‘However this war may end, we have won the war against you; none of you will be left to bear witness, but even if someone were to survive, the world will not believe him. There will perhaps be suspicions, discussions, research by historians, but there will be no certainties, because we will destroy the evidence together with you. And even if some proof should remain and some of you survive, people will say that the events you describe are too monstrous to be believed: they will say that they are the exaggerations of Allied propaganda and will believe us, who will deny everything, and not you. We will be the ones to dictate the history of the concentration camps.’

The obfuscators, the blind eye turners, the deflectors. Read this, then see the parallels in your own actions.

Now had this been written by a senior Nazi during WWII then it would indeed be chilling - but it wasn't, was it Doxyboy? Which is why you chose not to provide attribution. :shake head:
