Won't face charges.

Of course he won't, this has been a perfect model of manufactured outrage vs common sense.

If you kill someone then a worse case scenario is assumed and you are arrested for murder, you are then questioned under caution and with a brief on your end. This is due process, everyone who is caught killing someone is arrested for murder because you have to assume the worse without evidence.

If you kill someone as a policeman you can accept to be arrested for murder because someone got killed and you have to assume the worse, this is no different.

Will you outraged idiots actually try to educate yourselves for once?

That is correct but it wasn't always so. This situation has evolved over time for many reasons and has mostly found it's way onto our statute books by the guile of government which the people had little say in and are mostly completely ignorant of the potential magnitude of what they've allowed to become law.

You see what you've stated goes completely against one of the founding principles of British justice which was 'You are presumed innocent until proven guilty' - what we have today of course is, as you stated, 'You are presumed guilty until you are proven innocent' - there is one hell of a diffence between the two, particularly if you're on the sharp end.

His house has been boarded up at the front and they have put CCTV in because they are worried about revenge attacks....

He'll probably have to sell up now :shake head:

It's in London so he'll be able to sell his house for at least 50 billion pounds. And that's no exaggeration :more beer:

He was stabbed with a screwdriver (apparently) that HE had brought into the house which could have easily been used to stab the home owner.
It sounds reasonable to me that he had it used on himself... out of fear, in which case I am glad the old fella isn't facing any charges.

The neighbour interviewed on TV said it was a knife which the other intruder pulled out of the victims body when he dragged his collegue out into the road, the knife was then thrown onto the path.

The neighbour did not do the old fella any favours with her TV interview

Yeah, it might result in people thinking twice about breaking into someone else's property. That's just fucking madness.

A local incident some time back, a Woman heard a noise in her kitchen went to investigate and found a man going through the crockery, she shouted at him, he then appeared confused and agitated, being frightened he would hurt her, she then ran out of the house and with the help of a neighbour the Police were called,

It turned out the man was from a local Care Home and suffering from Dementia who went for "walkabout" thought he was back home making himself a cuppa tea,

It could have turned out very different if the householder had taken the law into their own hands.

Got a feeling this story and Court Case could run for some time to come.

Rubbish

Properties in Hither Green that have sold in the past 12 months ranged from a low of £33,000 to a high of £743,000

For sorry for him , the police will reforce his doors , and put a panic button in his home , if he has a mobile phone he be told to keep his location data on and they give him a three number code to press on his phone if he out and about , the response time should be two minutes till the police get to him , if he lives in a council property they will move him straight away to anew undisclosed address , for the nature of this gang the poor bloke will feel threatened for future revenge attacks in the future, the police would give him full advice about them too ,

The Old fella did well then, ( dont forget his wife )

Maybe the alternative was just to try and remain calm let the burglars take what they wanted , then contact the Police when the burglars left .

So despite the MSM's faux outrage, the law was followed and the OAP was let off. Just as happens every single time.

Clear cut case of self defence, knowing how cucked our ‘justice’ system is he’ll probably end up spending the rest of his life behind bars. I hate what this country has turned into, a free for all for all types of scum but god forbid you stand up for yourself.

You're ability to predict the future is amazing!!

, your really living in cockoo land snooks , you have two blokes forcing themselves into your home , probably threatening you, pushing you etc , asking were your valuables are . there’s been many instances were people that have intruders never lived to phone the police , when you in fear you do anything to get out of the situation,
