I doubt it. This is reminiscent of the last Tory government, Johnson's bellicose demands for an 'international response' ring the same bell as his one time predecessor William (the warmonger) Hague and we all know how that turned out. I have to say it's a nice convenient time to accuse Assad of chemical attacks, with his ally the Russians already embroiled in their own little nerve agent muddle.

I would take anything that comes out of that shithole of the world with the biggest pinch of salt, it's certainly not worth getting involved in but of course politicians won't see it that way, they need something to fill up their days and an opportunity to justify their existence.
