Why was the abuse allowed to go on for so long. Is there more to it than being afraid to appear racist?

It has long been suspected that high up politicians (Heath, Cyril Smith etc) as well as certain persons in the royal family have been protected from any serious investigation by police chums.

Well Heath allegation obviously been found to be totally unfounded so not sure why you attempt to smear.

The point was that Heath was long suspected, but never properly investigated. Along with dozens of other celebs and politicians.
