No informative comment to make about Albright’s book of course
Just the usual spiteful insults and untruths.

I haven't read Albright’s book, nor will I - nor is it the subject of this thread or the others you spammed with your ridiculous Corbyn is a Nazi nonsense.

Nor is there anything spiteful or untrue about stating unequivocally that you give barn doors a bad name.

Good timing
Lefties have been whingeing for years about the so called bias of the press
And here on this thread
Just after Albrights new book has been reviewed by many UK newspapers
Where she warns about the rise of dictators and early signs to look out for
And the first sign is to blame the press.

But as you say, you won’t read it so you’ll never learn.

Have you any idea who Madeline Albright is and her reputation?

Madeleine Albright says 500,000 dead Iraqi Children was "worth it" wins Medal of Freedom

FFS Mungo, you are plumbing the depths using her as some sort of oracle. :shake head:

Well, I thought you’d be aligned to her thinking, given that her family fled to the UK to escape the Nazis and now she’s a left wing politician, previously Secretary of State in the Clinton era.

You're the one quoting her, and holding her up as some kind of shining example of sainthood, Mungo.

Just add Mungo to the ignore list Canny. He's a troll who only posts because he gets a reaction.

No you didn't. You heard the name in the msm and used it to try and paint Labour or Corbyn/Corbyn supporters in a bad light. You had no idea who she was or her record. The idea that the US Democrats or Clintons are left wing shows your understanding of politics to be around zero. You might also check out the CFR (Council on Foreign Relations) Another despotic outfit. She happens to be a member, unsurprisingly.

That quote you posted supposedly of hers is without any context

Never thought I would read the King Of Out-Of-Context quotes calling someone else out for quoting something out of context....

From link in earlier post for mungo

Lesley Stahl on U.S. sanctions against Iraq: We have heard that a half million children have died. I mean, that’s more children than died in Hiroshima. And, you know, is the price worth it?

Secretary of State Madeleine Albright: I think this is a very hard choice, but the price–we think the price is worth it.

This is common knowledge mungo ffs. Well to people who quote Madeleine Albright anyway. By doing so one assumes they know something about her. :dunno:

Madeleine Albright: “500,000 Dead Iraqi Children Was Worth It

Sometimes Genocide Is OK…
It just depends who is in office at the moment.

Here is a much forgotten exchange between Lesley Stahl and Madeleine Albright on “60 Minutes” back on May 12, 1996 that is not getting much play lately:

Lesley Stahl on U.S. sanctions against Iraq: We have heard that a half million children have died. I mean, that’s more children than died in Hiroshima. And, you know, is the price worth it?

Secretary of State Madeleine Albright: I think this is a very hard choice, but the price–we think the price is worth it.

It’s worth noting that on 60 Minutes, Albright made no attempt to deny the figure given by Stahl–a rough rendering of the preliminary estimate in a 1995 U.N. Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) report that 567,000 Iraqi children under the age of five had died as a result of the sanctions.

Since the US ousted Saddam Hussein and brought democracy to the Middle East the Left has been protesting the civilian and American fatalities that number less than 100,000 combined- and a vast majority of those killed by the terrorists.

These are the sort of people you're looking to for advice on leaders? :thud:

One year ago:

35% say that the Labour leader would make the "best PM" as opposed to 34% who pick May.

Today:

When it comes to who would make the best Prime Minister, this week's poll shows 38% of people prefer Theresa May while 26% favour Jeremy Corbyn. A further 34% answered "not sure" and 2% refused to choose.
