An imploding Tory party and infighting Tory party a Tory party that took so long to admit she isn't and never has been up to the job .... is not a good image.

This idea of leaving the Tories to face the problems of Brexit instead of getting Labour in as quickly as possible is a really bad idea.
I understand the simple logic of it.
We need a Labour government urgently to stop the NHS from being irrecoverable which is what it will be anytime very soon.
Nationalising anything will also be extremely difficult if left much longer.
The Tory party have intentionally trashed this countries top credit rating and intend to trash it some more before they are done.
They have intentionally gotten this country into massive debt.
There will be no way a Labour government will be able to raise the money to put any of the ruin back together again.
It is a case of dire emergency that Labour are in power next week if possible.
They need to be very honest about the greedy shit the Tories have inflicted on this nation as of right now.
Something they are not getting across loud enough.
This country will be a basket case and an emerging market nation which means the wealthiest people can sit it out .... the rest of us won't be able too.
This country has never politically been where it is now since the industrial revolution.
Time to fight time to take control time to turn it around ..... just.

An early GE will at best return Labour as the largest party and then only able to govern with the consent of the SNP and possibly the LibDems. In that case the only viable agenda item is reversing Brexit. Nationalisation and the like will barely get a look-in.

A Labour SNP coalition but not with the LibDems, they are Tories really imo.

The LibDems would go with Labour/SNP in such a scenario, formally or otherwise - they could do nothing else and remain credible given their stance on Brexit.

The destruction of the NHS would be halted.
Maybe just in the nick of time.
The public would be on board for nationalisation of utilities.
The Tories have done their very best to make Brexit the only politics in town.

I concede that the NHS would have common ground. But nationalisation of utilities is not a priority at this time. The public are easily bought off.

For my own part, I will not support Labour at an early GE without a clear commitment to reverse Brexit.

The alarms are going off and have been for some time but I'll go and have a look in a minute.
By the time you've done anything the telly's gone.

Yes Labour need to make a huge policy change regarding the clusterfuck that is Brexit. They must go to the heartlands and explain in no uncertain terms what it entails and address the moronic project Fear responses. They need to explain that we will still be paying for Brexit for another 50 years etc etc, NHS ruined etc

‘The first 100 days will be radical’ – John McDonnell on the Corbyn coup and its consequences
Hours before our interview, Labour’s Treasury team had one of their regular meetings with the former head of the civil service, the crossbencher Lord Kerslake. They’ve been meeting active civil servants, the heads of the Treasury and HMRC, and I’m told McDonnell has ‘a good working relationship’ with Mark Boleat, the former City of London Corporation policy chief. The drive is to assure everyone that — contrary to the expectations of many — Corbyn’s Labour is prepared for government.

‘The first 100 days will be radical,’ says McDonnell. ‘Within months we’d have our first Budget. We’d be into our Finance Bill a month after that and we’d be setting up the National Investment Bank. We’ll start investing in our housing programme. We’d be scrapping tuition fees.

"What if Labour found itself in power before March 2019, and the Article 50 deadline for withdrawal from the EU? He doesn’t blink at the idea, but stays away from the technicalities: ‘We’ve built in a transition period, so that will give us a bit of stability… We feel whatever the state of play will be, we’ll be able to secure a better deal with Europe or use that transition period to prepare the future.’"

This bit offers hope Jack - the rest is huff imo, remember that the new Labour gov't will likely have the SNP and LibDems in tow so nothing can be guaranteed.

Any coalition will depend on an EU stance. Our financial sector is bleeding out because of the uncertainty.
