Do you think they'll achieve the break up of the Union Jack?

Don't know Claire.
There's a massive economic collapse about to hit the west ... all the lights are flashing red so I think they'll see the collapse of this country into not much more than a third world shit hole .... especially having left Europe who are being pushed more and more toward Russia and Asia by the idiot in the white house.
The birth of the Eurasian empire is upon us and we just walked away so I think these toffs have fucked it for all of us.

I agree but I hope Scotland will walk away from the shitstorm that is the UK. All welcome if we do.

I'd be happy to see the Scottish border move a little to incorporate Wales and most if not all of England from Brum upwards.
The way things are going London will be England.

Cumbria rightly (and for some time, historically) belongs in Scotland.

Yes, the last time we had a referendum, Wales and the North of England wished us well and wanted to come with us

I wish you all could. The Socialist in me hates leaving you all to the tories. You'll all just have to move here if we leave.

Apart from a ratbag communist website like this one -

https://cominsitu.wordpress.com/2018/01 ... mic-crash/

Do you have any credible evidence for this?

The Wall St Journal (Headline is In Echoes of Financial Crisis, Warning Signs on the Global Economy, but story behind paywall...)

https://www.wsj.com/articles/in-echoes- ... 1506305102

Business Daily, BBC World - Warning Signs for the Global Economy?

https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/w3csw87g

Torygraph - Global economy set for decade of gloom

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/20 ... -recovery/

Even the FT has a warning, though it then chooses to ignore it (It would though, wouldn't it ?)

I read/listened to all of these:

In the first article, Mevyn King argues that debt levels are still too high (note to Corbyn)
In the BBC interview, Pippa Malmgrem argues that the gloom and doom is wrong
The Telegraph article states that we are facing a decade of sluggish growth
And I can't open the 4th article.

No-one in that batch is arguing that "there is a massive economic collapse about to hit the west"

personal debt levels will reduce under Corbyn as people will be on at least £10 an hour.
The 4th article shows with graphics how the world's economy is mirroring 2006.

The FT article covers it. Don't be a skinflint. Just because you won't buy a subscription or google it doesn't mean there is no reference.
How many in 2006 saw a massive crash apart from Paul Krugman? Bloody Socialist economists getting predictions right.

Ahhh but he repeats the lie that we have balanced the budget despite Hammond borrowing tens of billions this year :gigglesnshit:
