Not a Tory and don't read the Daily Mail but carry on guest I'm sure you can come up with some more cliches.

And yes you should all stick with Corbyn as that will mean labour won't get into power and bankrupt the country yet again.

The UK has never gone bankrupt.

Tories also never admit to doubling our debt every time they gain power. :shake head:

I just don’t understand people. Corbyn’s policies are literally common place in every single European country and they work. I just can’t get the mindset that he’ll somehow bankrupt the country. And in fact we’re in a better position than much of Europe as we have our own currency!

McDonnell already said that he’s preparing to bankrupt the UK should Labour ever be elected to government.

I take it you have a :link: to back up that particular gem of made-up nonsense ?

You seem to have resorted to spamming threads with absolute lies, your desperation to defend the indefensible Tories is laughable.

Got any real stuff to add to the conversations ?

It's what Mungo/cbx1985 does, he posts rubbish. He gets away with it on Trifles because his Tory buddies lap up everything he says.

It's why he hated me so much on DS, because I challenged him.

Mungo's not alone on here.

Others like Roc, Malamute, Viper, Malcom, all post unsubstantiated lies intended as propaganda and usually sourced from the embarrassingly inaccurate right wing tabloids.

Keep challenging.

They are too stupid to realise they have been owned straight away. But as it becomes a habit, they scuttle off to post their cut-and-paste garbage elsewhere.

We've always been the underdogs. The tabloids used to say the same about gay people, or black people, or climate change. They have to be brought kicking and screaming.

Right now they're trying desperately to cling onto neoliberalism. They're not going to end this fight willingly.

Of course I have a link.
You should know by now that I only post facts
I am referring of course to John McDonnell’s speech to the annual Labour conference in Brighton September last year
It was widely reported

Read, learn and be afraid:

Or here

It says ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about 'bankrupting the country'.

It refers to being properly prepared should there be possible speculation against the GBP.

A bit like the government failed to do were the Brexit vote go wrong.

Keep spinning - just like your little gang of propagandists, you sound more desperate every day.

I think you might actually be a bit thick.

Nowhere in either of those two articles does it say Labour want to bankrupt the economy. What it says is that by being elected, there might be a run on the Pound. But that isn't because of their policies, it is like what happened when the Leave vote came in. It's uncertainty, it isn't them coming into Number 10 and going "first order of business, crash the economy".

You read what you want to read cbx.

Just think for a minute will you?
Has there ever been a shadow chancellor who has said, vote for me and the currency could collapse?
Does that fill you with confidence about his economic credentials?
Do you understand the chain of events that occurs when a currency collapses?
This isn’t political, it’s pure economics
It’s just like gravity
Gravity doesn’t care if you are black white, Jewish, or disabled. It works the same on everyone
Same with economic theory
It doesn’t care if the economy is capitalist, socialist mixed or anything
Just read up what happens when a country’s currency collapses.
That’s what will happen if John McDonnell gets to no 11.
And that’s his prediction, not mine.

A run on the pound equates to bankruptcy?

Of course, if you really can't take parts of a speech in some sort of context, you are simply spinning it.

And you are.

He was addressing points put forward by certain right wing commentators who claimed (erroneously) that the world would end and the GBP collapse in the event of a Labour government. And stated that he would prepare accordingly, if necessary.

Again, despite your outright lie, there was no mention whatsoever of the UK going bankrupt. And I suspect that after 10 years of economic disaster under the guise of austerity, he need take no lessons on economic management from you or any other Tory.
