Looking on the cards. Leavers strap a pair on and vote for the party thats going to get brexit done.

I predict increased tory majority on leave ticket.

Be interesting to see what happens with this, when would they have to announce it?

I hope you are right, in some respects. Much as I want to see rid of these incompetents, there are reasons not to, until 2022.

The Tories MUST own Brexit, 100%, in the same way that Blair was made to own Iraq despite the Tories voting for it.

There are certain parts of the UK, especially East Anglia, that need to be taught just how bad a Tory led Brexit can be. Let's see if pinning a blue rosette on a donkey (Elizabeth Truss) works next time.

As for the Sunderland Massive - when the well paid Nissan jobs start to go, the EU subsidies disappear, watch the realism sink in.

Incidentally, I think it's a bluff.

Said the same thing a few days ago...

If there's another election before Brexit, Corbyn (or whoever his successor is) should really campaign it on a manifesto of "Seriously, vote for the tories this time. They organised Brexit. Let them implement it and then, if you're not happy with the result, vote for us in 5 year's time".

Honestly, if the tories hold another election soon, it's gotta be because they're hoping to lose power and avoid responsibility for the fallout from Brexit.
And if the party who's in power - and has been responsible for organising Brexit - wants to pass on the flaming bag of shit, why would anybody else actually want to take it from them?

Here's a really snappy, realistic reasoning as to why a snap election won't happen....

"Hardline Tory MPs are so furious that the prime minister is making one capitulation after another in the Brexit talks that they are threatening a vote of no confidence to trigger a general election. That, at least, is the story in yesterday’s Sunday Times.

It is telling that no MP has gone public with this threat. That is not surprising, because it is all bluff: the hardliners have no realistic way to get shot of Theresa May. "

Not everything in the following article is correct as far as I'm concerned but this investor message may well be partly to do with why the Tories want to jump shit.
They have completely fucked the country and haven't a clue how to put it right.

An URGENT PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT from the UK’s
leading independent financial publisher:

State of Emergency

The country is fucked.
Tory mismanagement and massive debt creation means the country is fucked.
Austerity politics hasn't worked and it has fucked the economy.
Handing public services to companies who see the country is fucked are not investing in the public services they now have in their hands but don't have enough customers with money to spend.
Inflation is rising.
Fuel prices are rising.
Productivity is dead.
Buying dollars to buy oil is becoming increasingly more difficult.
The likes of Boris and Cameron and Osborne who had money handed to them on a plate by others who knew about making money have pissed everything up the wall with their sense of entitlement.
The country is fucked.
When a Tory government nationalises a private company to save public services it brings shame on them and everything they preach.
The Tories are facing the reality that it's time to grab what they can and run.
Because the country is fucked.
The debt created by the Tories means the country is very very fucked.
An incoming Labour government or coalition will not be able to borrow the money needed to repair the damage these fucking bone idle money fuckers have created.
They'll be labelled as useless when the reality will be the banks the investors the capital has flown.
The country is fucked so yes I think there will be an election possibly just before a national collapse.
I think I need to go back to bed.
I'm fucked.

You are completely wrong
The budget is now balanced for the first time since 2001
Government debt in the UK is 86.5% of GDP - one of the lowest in the EU

"Research published by the International Monetary Fund said Britain set an example for other countries to follow in slashing the deficit by cutting public spending, rather than raising taxes."

I hope you had a good night's sleep.

Misinterpretating Mungo striges again.

Here'a a truer picture of our national debt under the Tories - impressive isn't it? :shake head:

It confirms that you carefully select information in order to misrepresent the truth, typical of Tories - do you do this to support you racism too?
