Crap special effects but great show, much better than Dr Who.

The Avon and Villa partnership was the highlight.

I don't remember anyone in this country playing D&D until about 10 years after this show was on air though.

Late 70's? There was a club for it at my school and it made as much sense then as it does now, to me anyway

The other parties keep nicking our policies! :monkey:

We are in no way a socialist party and people lose their bottle when it comes to voting for our parliamentary candidates but are strangely trusting of our local government teams.

Nor is the Labour Party since Blair removed Clause IV.

I think they lost their way when they partnered with the SDP who were certainly socialists.

Liberal Steel was dominated by SDP Owen and that was the end of the real Liberal Party I think.

I'd like them back, or even the Whigs, anybody but the current trio.

We were getting over the Thorpe scandal and needed some legitimacy. it didn't stop Cyril Smith bumming small boys in the meantime. Our recent glory days started with Paddy, were continued with Kennedy and Nick but were dashed after we put country before party in the coalition.

If he is daft enough to threaten the fair trial of ANYONE, he deserves to be punished accordingly.

The rest is froth and bubble - if he did the crime (and it certainly IS a crime) he should do the time. And doing it with a suspended sentence hanging over him simply exaggerates his idiocy.

There is good news though - he claims to have befriended Muslims during his last stretch - doubtless his new found mates will be there to welcome him.

The government made him a martyr.

They got him in court and then jail with indecent haste, wasn't even allowed his own solicitor.

Not all criminals are treated the same are they?

"wasn't even allowed his own solicitor."

Which of his trials was this ?

Sounds completely implausible, but let's have the details please.

The one yesterday.

Allegedly the police told his solicitor he was being released and therefore thought she wasn't needed.

But he wasn't released and had to have the duty solicitor.

Look I don't agree with everything he does or says, he's certainly no saint and this gang whilst the majority are Muslims, the alleged ringleader is actually a Sikh, which I called him out on on more than one occasion for not mentioning.

But the way the state is acting is quite scary and threatening to everyone, and I also wonder why they're doing it, paid off by Saudis, or more likely because it's easier to cover up the gangs/ terrorism than stop them.

Oh hang on - your previous post makes no sense. He hasn't been jailed, to my knowledge, or even been before a judge.. He may be questioned, but there is certainly no reason for his personal brief not to return if required and deal with him - it simply required a phone call to say that police had changed their mind and were keeping him in for questioning.

Last time he was jailed was for mortgage fraud a few years back.

Far right fake news imo, far right sites are the only ones reporting that he's been jailed :dunno:
