Corbyn's next move should be to resign and let a real leader take over
Someone who actually leads
Someone with conviction and authority
Someone who can actually get the party together

His continual sitting on the fence and doing nothing will lead to his demise

That might result in Labour winning a GE in time for the Brexit fuckup - best keep things as they are.

There probably won't be an election before we leave the EU - 29 March 2019 - just over 9 months away
The next election is scheduled for 5 May 2022

So there's still time for the Labour Party to dump the current shambles of Corbyn, McDonnell and Abbott and re-structure itself around a new, more sensible philosophy.

You mean a more Tory philosophy - I didn't like that the last time around.

Let the Tories own the Brexit clusterfuck.

My personal expectation is that if Corbyn decides that realpolitik isn't for him anymore, David Miliband will return to lead the party. However, I have to laugh at Tories describing Corbyn, McDonnell and Abbott as a shambles, while they have Maybot the Weak, Bojo the Clown, Backstabber Gove, Jeremy Cunt, Davis the Idle Toad, Esrher Oyvey and That Posh Bloke.....

For a financial adviser, you seem to spend an awful lot of time on this forum.

Then there's the Defence minister who told Russia to "go home and shut up" :pmsl: :pmsl:

And I forgot 'Failing Grayling'........so easy, when there are so many oxygen thieves to choose from.

The other week, MPs attempted to force a vote of no confidence in our hapless and uncharismatic Transport Secretary – sadly, they were unsuccessful. Grayling’s ineptitude makes Jeremy Hunt’s achievements running the NHS look positively triumphant.

“Failing Grayling” will claim it’s not his fault that the new rail timetables still don’t work weeks after their introduction, that he didn’t make the controversial decision to give the boss of Network Rail a CBE, and that the troubles on the Virgin East Coast line (the operators have handed it back to the government) started before he took on his job.

Grayling would also say it’s not his fault that the number of passengers using the railways has fallen for the first time in eight years – 23 million trips less a year – representing a huge loss in income for operators already complaining they pay too much to the government for their franchises. The income from rail franchises will be £250m lower than forecast and the government will have to stump up £60m towards the deficit.

No wonder they have lost 23,000,000 customers with him in charge.

But will Treeza sack him, or any of the other multitude of incompetents ? Nah. Too busy clinging on to power at all costs.

But at least the membership of the Conservative Party has risen dramatically in the last decade. Oh no wait.... :gigglesnshit:

Are they down to 'tens of thousands' as promised ? No, hang on, that was a different promise.

The simple fact is the Tories are doomed long-term. The youth of this country aren't going to start voting Tory when they've been shafted the last twenty years.

Absolutely.

Nah, fuck him, he was a cunt to us at the last election. We tried to persuade people to get the tory out by tactical voting but it wiped out LibDem potential gains due to bullshit rather than the fact that we put country before party.

Looking back, it makes you wonder.

The Lib Dems are just as bad as the Tories IMHO. They legitimised their horrible behaviour. Lib Dems when Blair was around were better, they had conviction.

The Lib Dems now are just Tories apart from the Brexit stuff. I really don't want to go back to having a choice of Tory or not Tory. I am glad for the first time in over 20 years, we have a genuine choice. This can only be good for democracy.

If the Lib Dems want to be truly Centrist, they need to dump neoliberalism.

Honestly, drop that "we put country before party" mantra, no-one buys it. You didn't, you never have, no politician does - though sometimes their interests coincide.
