Labour opens up biggest lead over Tories

Labour opens up biggest lead over Tories

Postby Guest » Sat Jul 14, 2018 9:08 pm

Labour has opened up its biggest poll lead over the Conservatives since shortly after last June’s general election, as the government’s chaotic handling of Brexit appears to have triggered a dramatic fall in support for Theresa May and the Tories – and a sudden revival of Ukip.

The latest Opinium poll for the Observer puts Labour on 40%, the same score as last month, but four points ahead of the Tories who have dropped by six points since early June to 36%. The fall in Tory support would appear to be the result of Conservative supporters who backed leaving the EU turning to Ukip, whose support has shot up by five points from 3% last month to 8%.

Shhhhh !!!

Let the Tories sleep.........Don't wake them up until it's all too late.

Seems that Treeza has sent us all a letter today, repeating the Brexiteer's promise of free unicorns for all. Another vote loser.

Hopefully more Tories will switch to UKIP, should get a working majority.

Jeremy Corbyn’s party has taken a commanding five-point lead in the latest DeltapollUK study for The Sun, hitting 42% compared to the Tories’ 37%.

Meanwhile, a separate Opinium poll for the Observer gives Labour a four-point lead, putting them on 40% while the Tories slump to 36%.

It's what shit them up the election before last. It will turn some marginals but the people's voice will not be heard due to FPTP.

It will be an even bigger headache putting together coalition governments under PR though.

Multiple smaller parties with more say?....You would have fringe far right parties involved in shaky coalitions as well.

It would suit the Lib Dems overall, but wouldn't really benefit the country as a whole.

Bad idea....Won't happen.

PR - If I wanted UKIP, BNP and NF to have seats in the HOC I would vote for it.

I don't, so I won't.

Labour has pulled five points in front of the Conservatives as support for a second Brexit referendum rises to its highest level to date.

A YouGov poll for The Times puts Labour on 41 per cent, up two points from last week, with the Tories on 36 per cent, down one point.

The Lib Dems are on 9 per cent, down one point and Ukip on 7 per cent, up one point.

Going in the right direction.

Change is coming.

If YouGov give Labour a 5 point lead what is the reality? YouGov is usually very Conservative.

If that's what it takes to rid us of the utter shambles being played out by Treeza and her chums / sworn enemies in the Tory party.....emphatically YES.
