Must be their god's way of saying that video games are haram / not kosher....

That's why I don't play them.

I confess to always having had doubts about shoot-em-ups......but Maddens football ?

These gamers are weird. But if you look at a dozen or so of the shootings you see on a Saturday night in Chicago, you will see there is very little rhyme or reason as to why young men feel the need to shoot each other.

You just need to visit the sites that they use, there's a legion of depressed people who want to go out in style.

Could be the macho culture and national norm of using violence to solve any problem.

It's their right innit...2nd amendment and all that, 'I need to protect myself from dangerous government types' but actually use it to settle scores with other people. :off head:

That's an understatement.

Watching Trump is like some bad satire.

Then again as long as a politician spouts shit about God, Jesus, family and guns in America they are guaranteed a large number of mouth-breathers hanging on to their every word.

ok slave...i guess 4.6 growth rate in GDP is just bad satire.
Are you insane?

No Tom.

Neither am I a conspiracy theorist nor do I believe in a magical wizard in the sky that will make everything alright.

But He never does does He?

How many of the devout have been slaughtered in massacres in the US?

Yahweh never lifts a finger to help the innocents - and He never has throughout history.

I would be depressed if I stayed up all night playing video games too.

But that doesn't explain this.

During the weekend in Chicago, 66 people were shot, 12 of them fatally, between Friday at 6 p.m. and Sunday at 11:59 p.m.

"It's no secret that we had an unacceptably violent weekend," Police Superintendent Eddie T. Johnson said.
The spate of shootings left Chicago officials visibly frustrated during a Monday press conference, in which they said gun offenders needed to be held accountable, and they pressed for more community cooperation to stem the crimes.

In all, over the weekend, there were 33 shooting incidents. Fourteen juveniles were shot, and two 17-year-olds were killed.
In at least one incident, shooters opened fire into a crowded street party, police said. Of the wounded who reported an age, the oldest was 62 and the youngest 13, police records show.

The federal government has no idea how many school shootings occur each year.

The Department of Education (DOE) says that there were 235 school shootings in the 2015–16 school year. But when NPR double-checked the figure, it found that only 11 could be independently confirmed. A full 161 of the reported shootings—some two-thirds of the alleged total—did not happen at all. Another four incidents were miscategorized. (In one case, for example, a cap gun was fired on a school bus. In another, a student posted a picture online of himself holding a gun, at home, on a Saturday.) And 59 could neither be confirmed or disconfirmed, since the districts never responded to NPR's inquiries.

We don't even know how many actually happen, yet that never stops people form reporting numbers anyway. :ooer:
