CA fire(s)

CA fire(s)

The one at Clear lake--about 50 miles north of me is now the largest fire in CA history and the damn thing is growing about 10 square miles/day. It is now at 600 square miles.
The problems are this. The fire is in the mendocino natl forest---where there are only tiny roads for access--half of them dirt. The fire has to be fought 90% by air. There just arent enough resources to devote to a basically wilderness fire---altho small towns have been affected.--Also poor mgtmt policies have been in effect where they havent been cutting back the dead brush properly.
Its been like living in a big 3rd world city as far as air quality goes.Makes u feel bad for the people of india, china, indonesia etc who have to live in this crap 24/7.It definitely affects your health.
Occasionally we get a wind shift and the aqi(air qualoty index) improves-so people try to sneak in a walk or other outdoor activity at these times. The aqi is decent this am so im gonna go walk.

Ive been in CA for almost 35 yrs--and altho we always have fires--this fire is unique because its positioning etc makes it almost impossible to fight on a big scale/.Seems like it may just keep growing and growing--as the mendocino natl forest extends hundreds of miles straight north thru central valley of california. This is getting ridiculous. A 2 month fire???????????? could be.

So God decided to set fire to your forest?
Should you really be trying to undo his work by putting the fire out?

Go pray to your god in the middle of that forest.

See if your god cares for you or your prayers.

update..... the fire grows to the north at 5000 acres/day. they just cant get in there cuz there are only tiny access roads that are paved and a slough of dirt roads in the mendocino natl forest.almost
completely fought by air at this point.
