Front page news is now a diversion?
You are seriously in denial

"A Labour Party official who suggested Jewish "Trump fanatics" were behind accusations of anti-Semitism in Labour ranks has been re-elected to the party's ruling body.
Peter Willsman was criticised when a recording of his remarks emerged in July, and the pro-Corbyn Momentum group withdrew its backing for him.
But he is one of nine people elected to Labour's National Executive Committee."

Ordinary Labour members aren't the idiots they're being taken for and when the next general election comes around I strongly suspect we'll see the wider electorate aren't either.

At this stage, you need to be thinking about voters rather than members mate.

You don't say!
One thing I've learned over the last 3 years is no matter what the left slate do, it will be portrayed negatively by the right slate & their media allies. It's pointless trying to please them. I do what I believe is right and *touch wood* it's worked so far.

My guess is that he will slope off and retire.

He certainly hasn't made a decision to both force a by-election and to stand as an independent.

In case you were holding your breath (Mungo)... (Your quote - " you will be happy to know that he is planning to resign and run as an independent Labour candidate in a by-election
He'll be up against one of Corbyn's lapdogs of course.")

Frank Field has decided he will not trigger a by-election following his decision to resign the Labour party whip.

What a surprise.

But but the BBC "4th most trusted media organisation in the world" told Mungo Frank Field was triggering a by-election!! :ohshi:

""A Labour Party official who suggested Jewish "Trump fanatics" were behind accusations of anti-Semitism in Labour ranks"

He is much closer to the truth , that's for sure.

Hence his re-election.

Now, when's Frank's by-election again ?

From what I experience, members of all factions and despite disagreements work together with the same end goal in sight.
Unfortunately the PLP, who have more of a platform to be heard than ordinary members, refuse to support the party under it's elected leader. I thought after the General Election result they'd stop but they've gotten worse.
Hopefully we'll have mandatory reselection soon and democracy will see off those who'd rather fight their members than the Tories.

So you think that John McDonnell is wrong?

"Shadow chancellor John McDonnell has revealed he is "worried and saddened" about the prospect of the Labour Party splitting over the anti-Semitism row.
Mr McDonnell told the New Statesman he wanted to avoid a split "at all costs" and was happy to talk to unhappy MPs."

You can't eat oil. And if you can't sell it due to US sanctions, how do you pay for imports such as food and medicines ?

Socialism doesn't work unless it's propped up by capitalist countries.

Propped up how? :dunno:

By sanctions? :ooer:

Good news. Now the real fight can begin to form a party intent on fighting the Tories rather than trying to cling on to the system that has failed so many over the last 40 plus years.

Yes, he is 100% wrong.

He has fallen into the same trap that Blair did when he got into bed with Murdoch, allowing tabloids to dictate policy and agenda.

He should have basically told the few making the noise (and furthering their own agendas, Frank Field) to shut up or fuck off.
