Last night's Labour Rally in Liverpool

Last night's Labour Rally in Liverpool

What a beautiful night! :brella:
No city in the country does music & politics like Liverpool. 10s of thousands turned up at The Pier Head to hear music from The Christians, The Farm and Captain Ska.
MP's including John McDonnell & ofcourse Jeremy Corbyn gave brilliant speeches and I felt very privileged to be there. Something VERY special is happening in the UK.

Glad you enjoyed it.

Seems the RW media have decided to ignore it.

ITV have reported on it. We saw the crew there. They only wanted to talk to the small pockets of EU fetishists in their silly hats. Fair play to ITV reporter Paul Brand his Tweets last night were accurate and fair though. Obviously ITV News had already decided on the Brexit narrative.

A bit like Andrew Marr interviewing Corbyn this morning - concentrate on the negative...

It's become a joke now. 10s of thousands of ppl of all ages, all backgrounds & with widely varied views on Brexit descended onto Liverpool's Pier Head to hear about Labour's positive vision for Britain. This sort of engagement & enthusiasm is something UK politics has never seen before and what does Marr focus on?... Old baseless accusations of antisemitism!

Ironically the largest group there last night (yeah even more prominent than the "We Love The EU" brigade) were Jewish Voice For Labour but heaven forbid the mainstream media acknowledge Jewish people on the left.

Thousands back Jeremy Corbyn at Liverpool public rally so big it forces road to shut

Thousands of people packed the streets of Liverpool last night in a vast rally in support of Jeremy Corbyn .

And despite rain the rally saw what was thought to be the biggest crowd for Mr Corbyn yet - with one estimate putting the numbers at between 7,000 and 10,000.

Good

Thick gammons really aren't our type. Try UKIP, if you can find them.
