EU says no new trade deals with countries not in Paris Agreement
European Commission backs French call for the Paris deal to be a prerequisite for access to the world’s second largest economy.

Trade deals are becoming more complex.
Nations economic planning more uncertain.
Britain thinks it will be better off having no influence anywhere in the world while approaching new trade deals.
What next human rights ... workers rights ... immigration approaches?

The word that covers what we are about to lose is standards.

Standard of living.

Standards of imported goods.

Working standards.

Standards of international trustworthiness.

and so on.
