The comment drew scorn from the scientist and broadcaster Brian Cox, who tweeted: “How could it possibly come as a surprise to Dominic Raab that our most important trade gateway is that which is closest geographically to our most important market?”

Nicky Morgan, the former Conservative cabinet minister who advocates a soft Brexit, tweeted simply: “Gulp’

I said at the time of the vote it was far more complicated than yes no.
I said the people should not be getting a vote on this because the public are largely politically ignorant.
The complexities were way beyond Joe Public but look at the link and we get this .....

It is of the utmost importance that parliament and the public can compare any arrangement the prime minister agrees, against the benefits of European Union membership and make clear the impact that the deal proposed would have on every single area of the economy, public services, finances, security and opportunity.”

This is what should have been discussed and presented to the public before the vote as opposed to shall we shan't we.

Even honouring the no vote could have been done over years not rushed headlong into but no balls up after balls up fuck up after fuck up.
This has to be the most incompetent government this country ever had.
They need removing quickly.

It was obvious from the moment the referendum was called that nobody in charge had a fucking clue what leaving the EU would look like. Makes you wonder what other important issues they blag their way through...

I understand it a whole lot better now and what a steep learning slope it has been. I was a remainer from the start, I remember the power cuts and crap food of the 70's and 80's as well as shit everywhere; we are far better off now because of our EU membership than we were before as we appear destined to find out again. The spivs and cunts who were running the various leave campaigns with different bullshit promises that contradicted each other were obviously another reason for my decision...

So the people in charge of it don't understand it but you think Joe Public who mostly don't even knows the name of their MP do?
Sorry but I'll have to patronising.
