And winning some sympathy.

Strong and stable and in need of sympathy!
What a fucking joke.

It just seems like a distraction. This will go on, to-ing and fro-ing until March...

Nah someone's going to trip her up.

Her car door wouldn’t open today when she went to meet Merkel.

Watching the Tories bumbling about would be funny if it wasn’t so serious. :ooer:

ever watched what happens in the markets with currency fluctuations? I think it was three-four years ago I said the currencies were working towards being equally stable between £ $ and euro.

what a treacherous bunch. elect a leader and decide to bolt when the leader they have chosen is in a sticky situation. Parliament needs a serious reform antiquated and unfit for purpose. Oh, how would I deal with it, glad you asked : ) I would get military analysts in at the very least with the directive to make Parliamentary business as efficient as possible. that's step 1.

step 2.
when the Queen invited everyone to Her birthday bash there was only one party. Josephs interpretation of the rock from heaven is where I am going with this.

I would suggest Parliament have a private twitter account specifically for Parliamentary debates or tech that functions with a few more specific features including. installing direct sound speakers so mps can talk with each other without disrupting what is being discussed on the floor and still hear what is being discussed or debated. 600 people and they can't improve the health or wealth of the most impoverished People, it is a disgrace to even consider consideration is at the forefront of being there. I was under the illusion the decision to become mps was to do the job others have not been able to do before? they are all there for the same reason, stop with the whining, bickering and snide digs, it is unbecoming of Ladies and Gentlemen. that is what We are first and for most in one Home, Earth, Parliament is supposed to represent the civil and Social dynamics of Our culture and influences. there should be more openness without Parliament needing to use Royal Prerogative. voting is participation! We the People have supported and defended the government for decades, centuries and millennia throughout all the wars, poverty inflicted upon the People. there is only so much that can give within a system that is so stressed the slightest excessive force would cause a cascade across the entire economy, and none are completely secure within the Peoples vision.

Two years and more of Brexit.
Anyone any idea what's been happening on the domestic front all this time?

We did of course have the most draconian surveillance laws passed while no one was looking but that's not important to anyone.

Been saying this myself for some time. Even when subjects are brought up it's not long before ' it'll be worse after brexit' or 'you voted for it', maybe a 'the idiots want this' and so it then descends in to yet another talk about brexit. (here is better than most places but not immune)

The country needs to get a grip and stop theorising over every latest utterance from MP's about brexit. People are dying, the sick and disabled are being driven in to poverty by removing their benefits. The bedroom tax still exists, the benefit cap still exists and rents /property continue to rise. Social care doesn't exist, hospitals are collapsing under the strain, schools are being looted and local infrastructure continues to creak.

Brexit, Russia, royal babies and z list celebs are all that seem to interest these days. :shake head:

Whatever''s happening "domestically" is resulting in an awful lot of people sleeping on the streets.

Yep. It infuriates that people are prioritising Brexit (or their opposition to Brexit) before all of the above. It's so fucked up. :shake head:

By what mechanism can people do anything else - Brexit is the single most important issue of our time?
