My money is on Theresa May.

My heart wants her to lose, for an ERG fanatic to win, in which case A50 will be temporarily rescinded to (in their minds) to renegotiate the deal to include unicorns for all.

The Tories will lose DUP support, and the government will fall.

We will get a Labour government, and there will be a second referendum.

Suggesting that May will win ? Not really - she has loads of MPs on her personal payroll - turkeys unlikely to vote for Christmas.

The rest is a wish list. Possible only of she loses or, like Thatcher, is fatally wounded.

Personally I am past caring, I cannot see anyone I think is PM material, inc May, in that party at present.

I pretty sure May will win too. Though for opponents of the Tory Party it would be better if she didn't.

She might just about survive, but her credibility on the EU stage and her demands on a "Brexit Deal" will now be flawed, we will end up with the sticky end of the stick

I don't imagine anyone in government really wants her job atm so you're probably right.

While a Tory leadership battle is fun to watch, it doesn't really get us anywhere. We need a general election.

"The Prime Minister has my full support, not least because she has always done what she firmly believes is in the national interest. Our country needs us all to fight for a good deal and prepare for a no deal scenario. All eyes and hands should be on that task."

Penny Mordaunt - 12:13 am - 12 Dec 2018

Dear Conservatives
You already had a vote 2 years ago. And you democratically decided to have
Theresa May as your leader. But according to you, to vote again on anything would be undemocratic. :dunno:

She won’t lose, there’s no one with enough support to replace her.

There shouldn't be a second vote.

Corbyn has already ruled out a 2nd referendum.
