Everybody knows they went to India to steal and take everything they could.
India didn’t have the level of poverty it does now before the British Raj and other invaders did their smash n grab.

they went to india to control the silk route by way of the khyber pass. the forces were to small to make any significant impact without alliances. the big stone on the crown is the khrisna diamond which lost 2/3rds, it's size after cutting. there is also a legend that whichever nation or state that holds it will suffer economically (or something along those lines?).

I think that you will find that extreme poverty in India predates the British Raj by hundreds of years
One of the main causes is the caste system that underpinned India's social structure and goes back to 1000bc

Certainly it doesn't seem that life improved for the average Indian under British rule - and I'm not proud of the British Empire heritage either
But to blame India's historic poverty problem solely on Britain is an exageration I think.

Of course life for the average didn’t improve and those who had little ended up with even less.

The British Raj lasted less than 100 years
But it certainly didn't improve under the Mogul Empire which lasted more than 200 years.

Was British rule worse than Muslim rule for Indians?
I don't know the answer to that.

Oh I don't know, 5 warring divisions (sultanates I believe?)all at each others throats prior to the British is now the biggest democracy in the world and it is undoubtedly a wonderful example of a nation gaining world status.
The Victorian values you speak of have provided great education, law & order, civil liberties (in spite of the caste system), infrastructure --am I right in thinking Indian National Railways are biggest employer in the world (?) - etc etc etc to the point that India produces some of the most brilliant people on the planet.
It has surpassed the UK in just about everything and has its own Space Agency, nuclear capability -both Civilian and Military- and it is undoubtedly a world power with far more capability in wealth and military status to the old mother country, for we seem to be languishing and going backwards.
I have heard Indian people say that they are grateful to the British Raj, and I can well understand their saying so. India is far more powerful a force on the world scene than Britain without doubt.
And that is because, in my opinion, of the Indian people themselves.

You forget who owns the infrastructure. even 70 years after so-called nationalism. and a divided country, oh but not evenly. the muslems where located to lands that were not so economically sound bangladesh and pakistan. that is until it was discovered that pakistan had oil which resulted in a nuclear arms race funded by (take a guess). opium production in india 2001 6 tons a year. afghanistan 0 opium production, today 6 tons per year india 3-2 tons (likely less since I last read a report?).

I've never believed Hitler died.
Who went into the bunker to discover the body?
No one.
The most evil man of the times and just like Bin Laden .... no fucking body.
Hitler was a homeless street artist who ends up in jail and as if by magic this nobody has very important people keep visiting him in there.
Why?
What were they discussing planning?
I think you'll find Hitler took his instructions from these people .... now this is the plan .... probably Rothschild and or his agents.
Hitler would have been rewarded handsomely for his work in the creation of Israel and lived happily ever after as Mister average millionaire in America Israel Argentina Rome wherever.
That to me makes much more sense than he's dead under the rubble no we can't prove it next ....
