Sanders is pretty shit as well. This was always the argument; as with Corbyn in the UK what the media is calling 'radical' or 'far left' is really watered down social democracy - the kind of stuff that both left and right used to support. I serious doubt you would call Eisenhower or Churchill 'radical far left loons'.

Same with AOC and her 70% marginal rate on incomes over $10million - America at one point taxed that shit at 98%, FDR wanted a marginal rate of 100% at one point. Hardly a far left radical. Sweden taxes incomes over $80,000 that much right now while also trying to ban unions so does that make them far left or far right?

You can be pro Israel without thinking US troops need to be used to settle problems in other countries. That would define my position. War predates the US and if we are incinerated tomorrow, it will continue. But our troops dont need to be a part of it unless they are actually defending Anericans.

No which is why I wouldnt support any of them. The initial point was the arguement 'left wing people should support her' which my response has been no because she isnt even left wing and has shit views/politics at odds with left wing principles. As shit as Sanders is he is better than her for a left wing voter.

The bigger issue is how do you keep a candidate true to their word once elected and that is where a mobilised grassroots social movement is needed - Sanders sort of has it with the DSA thing which is why the Dem centrists hate him so much. Same with Corbyn and momentum.
