Dear me, I really thought that this time.........but no.

Dangle........for the very last time. A second referendum is PART OF Labour's policy. So is respecting the referendum result. So, their FIRST PRIORITY was t force an election. Sadly a no-confidence vote failed and Treeza doesn't have the dignity to resign despite her embarassing defeats. Next in line is to negotiate a deal which protects jobs, worker's rights, that sort of stuff. IF Treeza's deal doesn't do that (it doesn't) it gets voted down.

Now we have a third go at Treeza's deal going through (unbelievable, I know) and this is where the third plank of Labour's policy comes in.. If the deal is voted down, Treeza has agreed that meaningful cross-party consultations will take place to search for a solution that will pass the Commons. Labour will push for a People's Vote IF there is no chance of a compromise on the deal.

That's it, Wango. Last time, ever.

Except to say, the reason Labour kept their powder dry on 2Ref tonight was because they knew they could not win. Even official 2Ref campaign MPs weren't voting for it (tonight)...

And now the good news...

Wetherspoon's profits plunge by 19%

Its chairman, Brexit supporter Tim Martin, who generally accompanies results announcements with his colourful opinions, expressed concern that Brexit would be reversed.

This, he said, would have "adverse economic consequences".

He blamed "the establishment" for a "barrage of negative economic forecasts".



He warned the cost of food and drinks in his Wetherspoon pubs is set to spiral - despite his claims prices would not rise on the back of leaving the EU.

Leave Means Leave appears to be setting up a number of splinter groups to reach audiences, potentially in preparation for a second referendum.

It has already unveiled a campaign called Ladies for Leave - with a video fronted by former television presenter Esther McVey, who struggled to to read the autocue.

Now the campaign has formed the Future For Leave group which is fronted by the most youthful candidate they appeared to have - Wetherspoon’s boss Tim Martin.

In a video, which cuts to clips of Martin talking to elderly regulars in his pub, he tells viewers: “Join the new movement for young people around the UK which supports a positive, global Britain where we can leave the inward looking EU behind for a new, international future.”

Shamefully, I went into a new 'spoons' in my local town for breakfast a few weeks ago.

Food was OK - but on every table alongside the menu was a shameless wad of pro-Brexit propaganda.

Just so tacky - but entirely in character with the whole Brexit movement and him in particular. Lost my business in a heartbeat.

Lot's of retailers are doing it using Brexit as an excuse to justify increases in prices. That may mean prices are not necessarily increasing because of Brexit.

Besides Brexit hasn't happened yet. We are still in the EU. So at best these are predictive price increases.

Next, we'll be hearing the TOCs will be increasing prices even more due to Brexit.
