Oh dear - all the huff and puff from the Tories about the Labour Momentum movement, meanwhile they are being infiltrated by UKIP people intent on driving policy from the Tory grassroots.

Seemingly even MPs loyal to Mrs May were facing the prospect of being unseated because of the arrival of hundreds of ex-UKIP supporters in their constituency associations.

I should find this hilarious, but......... no, can't lie, it really is hilarious.

Traditional Tories were seen as 'one nation' conservatives, being a paternalistic form of British political conservatism advocating preservation of established institutions and traditional principles combined with political democracy, and a social and economic programme designed to benefit the common man.

The Tory right detested this philosophy, and the result was many of them (supporters at least, and a couple of MPs) defected to UKIP.

They never were trad Tories, and are only tempted back by the promise of finally having the power to lurch the party violently to the right.
