In regards to Smollett, most people were pretty sure he staged this thing from the start. Hopefully he gets arrested and spends at least a few hours in a cell. I imagine his status will allow him to simply walk through and post a bond though.

Don't know much about the guy but he was sent a letter about racist harassment or something first but didn't get the publicity he was hoping for so went on the stage an attack, all with 2 guys he knows. Seems a bit bizarre, maybe his agent is a bit crap?

I posted the Majjid Nawaz assault in context. He's a British born broadcaster of Pakistani heritage who hosts a weekend radio show that is anti-extremist in it's content.

He is also the person who founded the Quilliam foundation that was funded by the Government to combat religious extremism but looking into their funding now it seems to be financially supported by RW Christian extremists in the States.

I try to discuss news but sometimes I'm a bit too subtle.
