Trump Administration 'Uniquely Dysfunctional', Says Britain's Ambassador to U.S.

Sir Kim Darroch, UK ambassador to the United States described Trump's administration as "dysfunctional", "clumsy" and "inept", Trump "radiates insecurity" and advises officials in London that to deal with him effectively "you need to make your points simple, even blunt".

It's upset one of Trumps arse lickers, Fartage, who wants Sir Kim sacked.

Britain's ambassador to the United States described President Donald Trump's administration as "dysfunctional", "clumsy" and "inept", the Mail on Sunday newspaper reported, citing a series of confidential memos.

Yeah that bit amused me. The Foreign Office said the leak of the memos to the Mail on Sunday was "mischievous" but did not deny their accuracy.

When we crash out with no deal is there anyone in the world we haven't offended who we might be able to do a favourable deal with?

The US who want to bombard us with chlorinated chicken shit and think our NHS is for sale. So the first is not favourable and the second is a 'no deal' fuck off.

Trade deals only benefit the corporates.

More profit margin and keeps out the opposition. See Africa and food for examples.

Trade deals have only become important enough to now dominate economic discussions in the media, and therefore the public, in the last decade or so.

Sanctions can be applied on anyone for any reason and the rest of the west fall in to line.

It makes the whole thing flaky as fuck when you think about it.

Why wouldn't we be able to sell stuff if we leave?

Why can't existing customers/suppliers continue?

Government doesn't dictate who we can buy from or sell to except in the case of sanctions. :dunno:

"Why wouldn't we be able to sell stuff if we leave? " - Because in many cases either tariffs will make our stuff comparatively expensive, or in a tariff-free situation others are dumping their cheaper goods into the market, again pricing us out of it.

"Why can't existing customers/suppliers continue?" - Customers will always buy cheaper where possible. If we can't compete on a level playing field basis, we won't sell. Steel is a perfect example, as China dump their cheap steel all over the world. America will be expecting to dump their cheap, hormone filled beef, and cheap chlorine washed chicken here as soon as we are out of the EU. And people will always buy £2 chickens from Tesco...

You think people buy on price? For business, quality and reliability are ahead of price. Very few component buyers would switch to a new supplier based on price alone. The tariffs are likely to be in the currency exchange variations region in any case.

Have you got anything particular in mind?

Which customers and what do you base your theory on?

Retail customers in the food market might well do but then many of those are struggling due to the last 40 years of neoliberalism (ever more wealthy few, ever poorer many) as well as the EU preventing other countries from supplying food/certain foods to the UK.

Chinese steel being offloaded at cost price and below very often resulted in failure or problems for civil contractors. Falsified data and tests with many in the know aware of chinesium stuff and avoiding it.

How much Chinese steel was 'dumped' here, any idea?
