Good ... I don't want Labour getting in because they would bring our country to its knees.

You must have a low opinion of the country then.
They’ve never bought the country to its knees when they’ve been in government before.

The Tories bring the country to it's knees with the destruction of the infrastructure and Labour throughout history have always built it up again.

Who was Prime Minister of the UK when the Great Depression hit?
Ramsay McDonald Labour
Who was Prime Minister of the UK when the GFC hit
Gordon Brown Labour

The two greatest economic crises of all time
Both presided over by Labour governments.

Those financial collapses were global, not unique to this country.
There was also a financial boom during New Labours govt, which led to too much leeway in borrowing so lesson learnt there, I hope.

According to the Sunday Times, one unnamed member of Camp Corbyn has admitted they are 'clueless' in how to deal with Boris, and that they have 'no plan' for dealing with Boris's elevation into number 10.

Labour strategists are concerned about Boris's willingness to plough money into funding the police and new infrastructure projects, which makes him far harder to attack, and for Labour to run an anti-austerity campaign. Also Boris's focus on delivering Brexit will imperil some of the Labour leave-supporting constituencies. Boris will also stop courting Lib Dem swing voters in marginal seats where Labour are the direct challengers. Good news for Lib Dems, but another nail in the coffin for Labour.

In a nutshell, Labour are even more fucked than they already were, when May was in number 10.

Bravo Boris!

Taking the average Labour Governments have seen more economic growth than conservatives, despite the fact that on those two occasions you would expect growth from such a low base to be an 'easy win' for the Tories.

Generally Labour governments also run fewer deficits and maintain tighter control over Whitehall spending.

"According to the Sunday Times, one unnamed member of Camp Corbyn"...……..

Meanwhile, a "Palace insider" confidently predicted that Megan would be Queen by next year, and in the Daily Heil a "Government source" assured readers that Brexit would be a roaring success and that all necessary arrangements were complete for a no-deal exit.

That sounds spot on for this news section :pmsl:

Someone made a sensible decision to draft in the Army for the flooding in Yorkshire. When we're not bombing people. We can use our resources to help ourselves.

Take it up with the editor of the ST - he ran the story. He also gave the reasons why Labour are concerned about Boris, which I posted.

Far more relevant to the current political situation than the endless drivel that you lot post on here, the latest being that no one under 30 knows what miles or inches are. :pmsl:

Labour are fucked canny, as are your futile online petitions and cries for another vote.

I'd be checking out those Thai Airways schedules asap if I were you. :gigglesnshit:

...So let me get this right. The "good news" is that Boris said he'd be prepared for "no deal" and has created a cabinet of six people?

That's the good news? That's the achievement Boris has made?

...Fucking hell, Brexit must be fucking dire if THAT'S the good news.
