That's right
Even today Corbyn can't say if he's Leave or Remain.

Why’s it so confusing for you? He’s said all along Leave with a decent deal for British workers etc.

No he hasn't.

What he has done is down vote pretty much every bill involved with the EU since he was first elected as an MP.

Lib-Dems are just going for revoke and to stop this shitfest without any fucking around, it's fucking childish.

The trouble on Saturday at Whitehall was the best that the rioting on the streets crowd could muster, 200 pissed up football hooligans battling with the police and trampling on poppies at the Cenotaph while thousands of pro-remain protesters continued their peaceful action.

The time for fence-sitting is over. :smilin:

It isn't up to this country whether or not we get an extension.
We can ask for one .... doesn't mean we'll get one.
France are always on the edge of saying no fuck off.
Boris can charm or con just one nation to say no fuck off and its all gone in a puff of smoke.
We're going to crash out.

so much for that vote. I figured the EU wouldn't let you guys leave--esp with most conservatives even against Brexit.
Now all you who voted Brexit be good little boys and girls and take your proper place. It was a fun playgame--that little vote we had.
So behave yourselves or we are gonna scream and cry and whine about all the horrible things that will happen if Brexit happens.
If you are good we will allow a 'Brexit' that really isn't a Brexit so everyone can feel good about themselves.

Let's see what happens if a US state votes to leave the Union.

Hell let's see what happens if a territory that is denied proper democratic representation declares itself independent.

We can take a guess based on what happened when British sovereign territory was invaded by the USA in 1983.

You seem deliberately unaware that the referendum promised all things to all people, it was made an advisory referendum only which means it's non binding and it was made before the last general election so it has no power over the current House whatsoever.

Further there is ample evidence of foreign influence in the referendum but that influence did not come from the EU.

Finally options specifically kept open by Vote Leave have been firmly rejected since the result came in, options that many people thought they were voting for.

Staying in the single market - OK before the vote but ruled out afterwards
Staying in the Customs Union - OK before the vote but ruled out afterwards
Staying in the EEA but leaving the EU - OK before the vote but ruled out afterwards

There is, in short, more than sufficient grounds to revisit the vote with a more informed electorate making a more informed decision and applying a condition that makes to outcome binding.

Wrong

Even today he refused to say whether he was Leave or Remain.

"Jeremy Corbyn agreed with Labour's main funders - the affiliated trade unions - that if elected, the party would negotiate a new Brexit deal and put that to a referendum, along with the option to remain.
But the party will not say which option it would back during a general election.
So, during an imminent campaign, the leadership will be unable to tell voters if a future Labour government would advocate coming out or staying in the EU.

Oh dear you are having trouble aren't you? Is it all getting a bit much?

Here's how it will go.

1 - There will be a General Election.
2 - Following a Labour win, depending on the Parliamentary arithmetic at play there will be a discussion with all parties to set out a Brexit Strategy
3 - There will be meaningful negotiations with the EU and a viable Brexit will be agreed
4 - Said negotiations will be primarily done by neutral professionals who will be supported not undermined as they were when the Tories were conduction negotiations trying, unsuccessfully, unite the Tory Party rather than serve the nation
5 - When a deal is worked out that deal will be put to the British people a viable leave vs a remain

If there were a viable leave option I can't say which way I would vote - when it was pie in sky all things to all people leave I had more sense than to think the impossible promises could all be delivered and worked out that none of them would be, so I voted remain like most other Irishmen, but a viable leave and I would have to reconsider.

It was foolish of Boris Johnson to paint himself into a corner and Jeremy Corbyn is avoiding that trap.

He aims to present the British people with a viable plan for exiting the EU and the option to remain - and he has no plans to commit the government to either option and to plan for both.

It's not difficult.

I'm a Labour party member and attended a selection ballot meeting for our MP this evening.

I can assure you that there isn't any kind of appetite to replace the current leadership. :smilin:

I don't know which parallel universe you are living in, but in the real world it looks like the Conservatives will win the next election with an overall majority of about 50 seats.

This is why Corbyn has refused to vote to trigger one twice in the past week
Despite calling for a general election more than 50 times in the past year.

Corbyn is 70 years old
He's way past his use-by date

Wouldn't dream of it.
It's not the policies I'm worried about with the two people I named it's their personalities.
Borids wiped the floor with Corbyn on Monday night.
He is to old and was dithering and looked defeated and deflated .... we need young blood.
The other guy is a fucking creep!
We need to get as many of the electorate on board as we possibly can and it's easy to see lifelong Labour voters won't vote for Labour with these two at the helm and they must know it so move aside please to help get the people back on board urgently.
I wouldn't dream of voting Lib Dem especially with that woman in charge with her true Tory blood clearly shown with her voting record.
See ow the leader can put people right off?
Vince was a sound guy but to old ... the drunk Scottish bloke was sound too and it was a shame to see him go.

I've never heard of that word.

But - just think about it for a moment

In 2015, Corbyn voted in favour of holding the in/out EU referendum
4 years later and he still hasn't decided if he's in or out
How much more time does he need?

Face it - he's a doddery old fool - a relic from a forgotten past
Locked in a time-warp of failed socialist experiments that have cost millions of lives and ruined dozens of countries
He's never going to be PM

He’s always said the ref result can’t be ignored. He’s always attempted to leave with a deal which will harm British workers less.
Can you post a link where he has said different?
