Wenger Politics & Why It Should Be Avoided....

To the less sporty types Arsene Wenger may mean less than the percentage of votes UKIP will get in this election.

To those of you who are football fans, Arsene Wenger, former Arsenal manager and the last one to win the title in recent decades. Arsene Wenger was fondly referred to as the 'Prof' and it is claimed transformed English football by introducing training and diets the players of other clubs had previously never encountered.

In a period, when pre game mindgames were played between the managers of the top teams he went verbally toe to toe with the likes of Jose Mourinho then Chelsea manager and of course the Legendary Sir Alex Ferguson. One of his more famous quips to SAF when his team was criticised by him was the hilarious: 'Everyone thinks they have the prettiest wife at home'.

However, to many Arsene Wenger was remembered for complaining when his team failed to achieve success by coming up with excuses as wild as blaming, the wind, the grass and other such laughable objections. Yet there is more. What he is best remembered for by many is for complaining about penalties not given in favour of his team, yet when challenged for penalties that should have been given against his team, he would always respond with 'I didn't see the incident'. Thus the term 'Wenger glasses' came into usage.

Now to the point of this little diatribe: if you are a political animal, with zero objectivity, who is willing to scream to the high hills when a politician from a party you despise acts despicably, yet when a politician from a party you believe represents you acts identically you pretend or claim, or downright insist that was not what happened you have entered the realm of Wenger politics.

If you lose all objectivity and shroud your partisanship, be it in claims of anti-communism, anti-fascism, anti-Trumpism, pro-Brexit, pro-Remain, pragmatism or whatever else you are a tool to be manipulated by those dastardly politicians and cannot complain or blame it on previous politicians when you get fucked up because of some ridiculous legislation that in reality you helped cheerlead in that costs you dearly down the road.

In fact, those who partake in Wenger Politics should have the vote withdrawn for being cretins and tools in the hands of those they bleat about as they fuck us all up, whichever 'side' they are on believe, or claim to represent.

Stay objective, stay independent and don't trade in bullshit when it comes to serious matters like politics.
