The gay Muslim MP is now among 24 Tories who identify as LGBT+, the most out of any party. Labour has 18 and the SNP has 10, one of whom was deselected before the election day.
LGBT+ people now make up 8 per cent of the 650 MPs, a record for the UK. And it means that with a total of 52 out LGBT+ MPs, Westminster has become the gayest parliament in the world."
Now that the conservatives are the gayest party in the UK with an openly gay muslim MP do you think it will help to stem the deluge of accusations that they're bigoted and racist or does the fact Boris Johnson once described gay men as tank-topped bum boys undo all the progress they've made? Personally I suspect they will just be accused of tokenism.

Do you go to the Diane Abbott school of maths?
The % of the UK population that identify as LBGT is 2%
So, if 8% of MP's in Parliament are LBGT, they are already over-represented.
Please see your teacher and get your sums corrected.

That particular pastime was the property of skinheads in my youth. There are probably pockets of skinheads still surviving in Workington in a similar fashion to red squirrels.
Hardline Islamic nutjobs simply didn't exist.
