DON'T FORGET BREXIT.

DON'T FORGET BREXIT.

Postby Cannydc » Wed May 13, 2020 4:12 pm

Stuff has been happening. Liz Truss (oh god, no, not her) has been busy negotiating with America.

If you could call it that.

UK govt caves into US demands to keep any news, minutes or reports from the US-UK trade deal negotiations secret until at least “5 years AFTER the trade deal negotiated”.

Shhhh - nothing to see here. Move along.

And there's more.

The cabinet office has four new ‘non-exec directors, all friends of Cummings and Gove: 1) ex commissioner of force that dropped investigation into Vote Leave, Bernard Hogan-Howe 2) Chair of Vote Leave, Gisela Stuart 3) Digital director of Vote Leave, Henry De Zoete 4) An ex long term girlfriend of Michael Gove, Simone Finn...

The Cabinet Office are Civil Servants but now contains four political appointees. All Leaver mates of Michael Gove.

Extraordinary.

What happened to democracy?
What happened as me and Fletch have tried pointing out for years is it doesn't exist .... we are owned and controlled by the banks and corporations ever more each day and it seems to be becoming more and more brazen.

Yes, the one you endlessly claimed was hard Labour, now working hand in glove with the Tories. Which she always was.

Are you saying that Tony Blair appointed a Minister in his government who was actually a Conservative?

Here in the UK, we had a general election
Did you miss it?
Labour got thrashed by the people
Corbyn's gone forever

I don't know where you've been hiding, but we've had 4 general elections in the past 10 years
Conservative Party has won every one of them
Conservatives now have another 5 years to go with an 80 seat majority
So I think that we will see at least another 10 years of Conservative rule.

Oh and by the way, we voted to leave the EU
And we have actually left

Anything else I can help you with?

And in latest news, Nadine Dorries tweeting doctored libellous material about Kier Starmer, almost certainly originated by the far-right.

Now deleted, when she was called out on it - expect a grovelling apology soon.

Never, ever trust a Tory.

As Health minister she behaved disgracefully and should have been sacked or asked to resign her position. Instead she's had a slap on the wrist but it shows just how low down this Tory government have gone. The BBC article explains it in full including an embedded link to the original interview

It stinks of Cummings and damage limitation.

Message to the Elliott's: Don't put your playful monkey up against one of the country's top QC's, this isn't a game.
