It sounds like the PMs significant other is a bit of a flake.

If it were just labour your point would be perfect. The poor little sods are chained up when not collecting coconuts though, I doubt many people mind a trained monkey climbing a tree.

Horses are chained up when they are pulling the royal coaches
Bullocks are chained up when thay are pulling ploughs
Horses are chained up when they are pulling those racing carts at the trots.

When a tree comes down around these parts the different coal and log merchants here offer money to buy the fallen tree and remove it.
People like me convert bits of that tree into hot water and heat producing some shit particulate matter and a little CO2.
If the landowner is a greeny he'll leave it to rot which then produces more methane than it would have CO2.
A totally wasted energy source and now a pollutant of more serious shit.

For those whop are serious about CO2 release by humans .... stop eating bread drinking beer and pop and breathing out .... it will make a huge difference ..... like how many loaves are baked everyday on this planet?
They produce a lot of CO2 in their making .... I'll shut up now I'm off out into the plague.
I might wear a mask now and then Art so wish me luck!

The monkeys are chained 24/7. Animals in harness whilst working are fine by most people.

Where is all the data on this? Why not just ask them to put them in enclosures when not working. Is this just a mechanism to force them to buy Western made industrial tree shakers that are high maintenance, burn diesel?

Shipping food is made to sound bad while shipping humans to get suntanned is ok ..... mad world.

Ultimately, I reckon we're all going to have to be given a carbon budget. Eat lots of coconuts and don't fly to Torremolinos, your call. Lots of car driving is clearly bad, as is turning your central heating too high, eating avocados, voting for Trump, etc. I'd be 100% in favour of trump voters not being allowed to leave the USA

On second thoughts, perhaps they could be trained to pick coconuts.

The pandemic got a lot of people cycling again! I mean riding in the streets, not on an exercise bike in your front room whilst catching up on Big Brother/MOTD/Gogglebox reruns. :header:

Not according to dozens of vegan web sites where it’s discussed extensively.
Just google it.

No need, I am a vegan, bar my medication which contains gelatine.
