Do you think Scrabble are correct in banning 400 words they deem racially offensive?

Off the top of my head, I can think of about a dozen obvious ones.

They probably got some wet liberal to go through the list. I would like to see what they are.

Have they all been removed from dictionaries too?

More assaults on our freedoms are too expected soon from these absolute fucking fruitcakes. :smilin:

The world has gone fucking nuts.

As one of the banned words is Shiska and another is Goy I can only assume that Red - who has been outspoken about racial slurs applied to White Anglo Saxon Protestants - is one of those who has brought about scrabbles rule changes. Shiska and Goy are derogatory terms applied to Gentiles by Jews.

However if you're ready to go out and protest don't bother. When you play Scrabble at home it won't affect you in the slightest, and if you feel like putting the word Fenian down when Games Night comes around and your friends gather online I won't stop you.

And while working yourself up to a state of high dudgeon over people who aren't really getting into a state of high dudgeon remember other words banned in Scrabble are Belgium and Himalayas, because Belgium those guys are just a complete pain in the Himalayas.

A more correct answer is that as you're not playing in a licenced Scrabble tournament with prizes then you're OK and even if you are the word simply won't be allowed. You'll have to use those letters to put 'ginger' instead.

Given the number of concerned professional Scrabble players I've seen on social media related to this story I'm completely amazed - at how few of them can spell.
