I've visited Gartree, many years ago. It's been known to get poured down throats too.

How does sort of thing go on without anyone doing anything about it? Ban sugar and boiling water for prisoners. Let's hope nobody does it to her in prison.

Presumably they get a lot of extra time as well. Prisoners shouldn't have kettles anyway.
