It'll mutate itself into a dead end at some point just like the Spanish flu of 1918 did, after killing fifty million people of course but this is nowhere near as deadly as that.
Ye...and hopefully never will be.

Eventually the world will be vaccinated, recovered from a previous case or dead.

And yet you took one.

Go figure.

No, I went to the doctor and would have had one of these, because it was approved...........

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has issued the first emergency use authorization (EUA) for a COVID-19 antigen test, a new category of tests for use in the ongoing pandemic. These diagnostic tests quickly detect fragments of proteins found on or within the virus by testing samples collected from the nasal cavity using swabs. The EUA was issued late Friday to Quidel Corporation for the Sofia 2 SARS Antigen FIA. This test is authorized for use in high and moderate complexity laboratories certified by Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA), as well as for point-of-care testing by facilities operating under a CLIA Certificate of Waiver

Quite possibly, but a PCR test cannot be done in 15 minutes it has to be sent to a lab.

An LFT - or lateral flow test - can be done in about half an hour, and you'll usually know within about 15 minutes if it's going to be positive. However lateral flow test are not for people who are symptomatic, for that you would have to take a PCR test - which takes more than 15 minutes.

You see we keep coming back to a place where there are only two possibilities

Either you were given a LFT test, which isn't conclusive and should not be given to someone who is symptomatic, by someone who was obviously a complete quack or you were given a PCR test by a competent but you don't understand how the gap between test and result works.
