Better turnout than the EDL protest in Manchester . Unless the majority of them came as coppers.
Be nice, Nige and co got 1200 in Harrogate at the 'Leave Means Leave' rally today
Just seen on the news that an estimated 600,000 showed up (didn't look that many) But is that enough of a show to change things. When the population of the country is 60 million?

I'm marching for me and mine mate. There's really no point in arguing with you lot, you're really stupid people. If that offends you then fuck off of of my website that's run by a blue collar union member and is somehow a member of the metropolitan elite despite living in a small town in Devon.

OK I will but a man advocating of behalf of the neoliberal EU, the banks and the big corporations who thinks he's a rebel on the side of "the people" is hardly a genius.

Their voting records don't express the views of individuals who care about our futures and unless they're willing to address the issues that made people vote for Brexit, they'll always be seen as the "liberal" elite who're trying to thwart democracy.
And I say all that as a Remainer.
Labour's 6 Test policy offers much more options (one of which could be a People's Vote) and also doesn't alienate those who voted to Leave the eu. Those heading the People's Vote campaign won't get behind it because their desire to keep Labour out of No10 is stronger than their desire to stop Brexit.
Hope you had a nice day though Stooo. Great pics.

It started in the early hours with Hobbit nagging me to get up (by text you dirty minded bastards) and was on the road by twenty past eight, aiming the pug at Ruislip for the start at twelve at Hyde Park, I knew that I would be late and would probably have to catch up with the 100,000 that were predicted to turn up. I got into Ruislip Manor after parking up at around twelve forty and took the rattler into Hyde Park Corner, I arrived at twenty five past one and walked up into one hell of an atmosphere!
Catching up? It took me three quarters of an hour just to get onto the street! Thousands and thousands of ordinary people on a beautiful sunny Autumn day, all ages, creeds, colours and classes mixing together under a common cause. I understand that one reporter said that it was more like a queue at Waitrose rather than a protest but the reason for that was that no-one was upset or angry, we just wanted our voices heard; and boy were they heard! I have a hoarse throat from shouting 'BOLLOCKS TO BREXIT' and 'WHAT DO WE WANT? (A PEOPLES VOTE!) WHEN DO WE WANT IT? (NOW!) and ringing ears from the shouts, whistles, drums and clapping.
When I eventually got moving having de-cloaked into my LD polo shirt, bEUret and rucksack adorned with B2B stickers we all went for a wander. Honestly, it was fucking massive, two police choppers overhead constantly, people chanting, cheering and chatting, all at a speed of around 0.01 mph. We went past the Ritz and down St.James St and onto Pall Mall. A hush happened passing the Cenotaph punctuated by several cries of 'shame' and one of 'bastards' when we passed Downing St. We dropped down to Piccadilly and I got within five hundred metres of Leicester Square at three when the rally started and was on big screens because the place was rammed!
I stayed and listened to the speakers for three quarters of an hour and buggered off back to Piccadilly Circus to ride the tube back to Ruislip and bugger me, Pall Mall was still heaving with people marching.
They are saying that there were 700,000 there, I can well believe it. They are also saying that there was no trouble, I can well believe it; you don't get trouble when a group of tolerant, calm and rational people get together.
Demand a Peoples Vote!
Anyway, here are some of my shitty pics :

I was expecting a call but I can well understand your being too busy for a beer.
The march was well televised and it was undoubtedly a protest that caught the eye.
I just wish May and Co would take heed and call off this Brexit nonsense.

If not, who voted exactly?

Well yes we know there was a referendum two years ago.
And that a key argument against a second vote is that it runs against something already democratically decided, and that it's an insult to people who have voted to leave.
However, we now know more as the details emerge; this is an issue with such massive implications for our children's future that I think that such principles should be put aside.
One parallel is this: your doctor suggests that you have an operation, and that you will be better off as a result and the risks are minimal. You have to decide yes or no so you say yes. Before the operation you find out the risks are far greater than he told you, and there's a strong chance you'll end up in a worse condition afterwards. Surely then you'd like the option to reconsider?
