Ah well . I hope it's fast "I am Legend" zombies rather than those stupid "Walking Dead" ones.

My youngest daughter (25) had the AZ vaccine a couple of weeks ago. She wasn't bothered by the risk, said she was probably more at risk of clots from her contraceptive pill. I don't know what the stats are for that as I've not looked.

It's right they are being cautious with the younger group.

Confirming all's not well vindicating mine and my GP's caution regarding my health issues.
My problems are neurological and no P wave on heart readings.
When you understand a little about that you'll maybe understand my cautionary approach a little better.

That's absolutely true, the pill causes more clots than these vaccines will.

Yes it's a very tiny risk even for under 30s. They're just doing a benefit assessment. Under 30s will benefit slightly more from another vaccine simply because it's compared to the ICU figures for their age group. Not many under 30s end up with covid bad enough to require ICU.

I'm still going for my second when it's time. It's rare for someone my age to die of covid but reading about long covid, I want to try and avoid that.

That's made me think. There were a few blood clot medics on the radio this morning talking about in skin bleeds. Do you remember seeing the massive one that I had just above my wrists the last time that we had a vid call?
