Compared to some of your members I haven't been around all that long but I'd miss the place if it was shut down. For what it's worth from what I've seen since I've been a member is that there was a core group of what I'd call provocative posters who were entertaining, but over time they got pushed out as moderation became more rigid, I think at the end of the day it's intolerance that's killed things off.

Have to agree SF, this place use to be fun to post in and read, now there's hardly anybody left. I don't blame you if you call it a day stooo, it's been over moderated to death.

Nothing to do with raven, Blame lies at cj's feet who drove every body away. It got to the stage that you just pasted over any thread that had him as the last poster. Canny was the same to some extent. It was years of brexit bexit brexit.
Ultimately it's was down to stooo, who totally changed like he was trying to impress the new ds crowd. [edit]
Dogs was never a big forum, so it could never sustain the constant banning of posters or those who couldn't be bothered to post because their point of view wasn't allowed. Come the end the only ones left to argue with were the ones they agreed with.
