Why Do Strong Emotions Make Us Act In Strange Ways?

Ways that you don't normally act, anger at the slightest thing while there's something huge happening?

I suppose when nerves are stretched to the limit due to 'strong emotions'...stress...anger...etc.. it only takes minute things to set you off....it's like a bucket that only needs one more drop to flow over... once empty you can start filling it again without spilling...

Better to have loved and lost, than to never have loved at all.

But you're not addressing the issue, you're ignoring it and picking up on trivialities. It makes no sense.

Any1 can have a poker face, it's what you feel, without emotions you'd be dead inside.

Maybe your nerves can't handle the big issue atm and therefore concentrate on the lesser ones while putting the big one on the back burner to be dealt with later ??

I don't think so. Every issue has its own number of drops.. Granted. But then you get an issue that has a bucket tipped within a bucket. And yes, someone crosses the line and that really does fucking set you off. I've lost a friend because of it. She's not a friend she is a fucking bitch, and i see no reason why a so called friend that you have been friends with for 30 yrs becomes more important than a friend you have known for 30 minutes.
